I haven't posted for a while...... Busy, busy- We just got back from our vacation. It was a trip to visit family that we haven't seen in a while. We stayed with a cousin of my husband's and she is something else. She is the kind of person that tells you like it is and doesn't care what you think. She is the exact opposite to me. It was quite refreshing and fun, actually. She said some things that I have thought for a little while, but not said out loud.
The visit was to my husbands family. I am usually uncomfortable and shy around them, which is wrong, considering we have been married for 12 years. With Angela there, I really enjoyed myself. She teased and picked on me enough to bring me out of myself. The kids really did pretty good. Angela has 2 boys that my brood got along well with and we all kept pretty busy. My 5 year old was in her element. A lot of attention is what she loves. Everyone spent some quality time with her, because most of them haven't seen her since she was 2 months old. It is so cute what comes out of the mouth of babes, isn't it?
Kaitlyn brought me a 7up from the fridge and asked me if there was anything else, because that kind was for age 7 and up.....
She made one of Angela's boys quickly vacate the room she was going into with her swim suit with the statement, "You better get out of here if you don't want to see girl privates..."
Oh, my goodness, we laughed and laughed the whole time.......
Hello! I'm 37... no 38... I don't know - somewhere there, the wife and working mother of 3. Go, go, go is the name of the game. My husband works full time and is an avid hunter (which you can tell by the dead animals on my walls). My last baby is in kindergarten, and so now my job is getting them all out of the house and making them successful members of society....
