Late night packing.......

I am such a procrastinator....... I told myself this weekend that I was going to pack the girls bag for their Grandma vacation so it was done. I didn't get to it (surprise), so I am up late taking care of it.

Grandma takes the grandbabies(4) once a year, during the summer, on a mini-vacation so she gets to spend some time with them..... I am all for it. The kids love her. This is their special time together and they make memories that will be with them forever. She takes who the girls refer to UR and AJ (Uncle Ron and Aunt Janet). They got married a little older (and wiser) and are probably not going to have any children. They help her out with the kids so it's not to wild for her. They also get some kid time with their neices and nephews and godchildren. They are so good with the kids. They just love them to death. Jean is very cautious with them because she worries about when they go swimming. One day of their trip they are going to Schliterbahn for some fun in the water. This year, she's taking them to Galveston for Moody Gardens, Schliterbahn, and beach play. The girls have been talking about it for weeks. My son is with his father enjoying some of the summer, there.

Also, it turns out to be a well needed break for me and Daddy. The kids leave tomorrow and I am up getting them packed. Almost finished, though. I'm trying to decide what to do with my free time...... Any suggestions? Maybe I will sleep til at least noon and lounge around in my PJ's all day...... I think I need to go shopping at least one day........ Joe is going to want to spend some of the time together, dog gone it....... There goes all of my fun (just kidding)......... With three kids, we don't get much time together. Most of our time is fussing with the kids, taking care of the house, handling bills, and so on and so forth...... I will probably spend my time catching up on my cleaning and running errands that need to be done. Ah, reality....... Don'tcha love it?
